How to Organize Your Beauty Products
If you have a lot of beauty products, you might find that it’s easy – and quick – to run out of space. You won’t want to curtail your buying, especially as this kind of retail therapy can be so enjoyable, but you also won’t want all your new things to completely fill up your home. So, what can you do? Luckily, there are a number of different tricks to use to organize your beauty products in the best possible way. Read on to find out more.
A Mirror with a Shelf
You need a mirror to put your makeup on, but you also need space to store all your makeup and other items. Why not combine the two elements and buy a mirror with a shelf underneath? In this way, you can have the benefit of the extra storage, and since you would have had a mirror anyway, you’re not buying anything you don’t actually need. This leaves more money for beauty products or to start a subscription from Scent Magic!
Put the items you use the most on this shelf, and everything else can be packed away. When you need something extra, you can find it easily, but most of the time, everything you need will be right in front of you.
Left to Right
Another way to organize your beauty products is to use a left to right sequence (or right to left if you’re left-handed). Placing the products in the right order in a line makes it much quicker to find them and use them.
This idea is particularly useful if you are short of time in the mornings and want to get ready for the day more quickly. It may not seem like much, but this small change of organization could add up to many minutes in the week.
Maybe you don’t want to have everything on display because you prefer the tidiness you get when everything is stored, or you just don’t have the room to keep everything out. However, the problem with hiding everything is just that; they’re hidden. When you want to use them, it takes a long time to find what you need, and it will cause a mess anyway.
Transparent organizers are the perfect answer. Not only can you store everything neatly, but you will be able to see exactly what is inside each container without having to search around or even necessarily remove the lid.
Hanging Shoe Organizer
If space really is at a premium and you don’t have room for any additional organizational products, think again. There might be room for something else. A hanging shoe organizer, designed to be attached to the back of a door or even a wall, contains a number of small pockets. Of course, they are traditionally used to hold shoes, but these pockets could be ideal for holding mascara, perfume, lipstick, foundation, and much more.
You’ll find around 24 shoe pockets in each organizer, which should be plenty for at least the most well-used of your items.
